Hi Cari,

This is the first time I've ever commented, but I've been an avid reader of your blog since probably February. I've been an avid knitter since December.

Anyway, I'm just about to finish my first pair of socks (I just used Magic Stripes Lion Brand yarn and a pattern from the Winter 2004 Knit It magazine), and I was curious what yarn you used for your sock (Koigu?) and what kind of pattern.

Thank you, a blog-reading fan,
Kaarin

Yeeagh! Not the skeleton! You know, when I first looked at your FO gallery, way back when, I thought, "Nice girl, nice knits, CREEPY SKELETON!"

I know that skeleton! Oh, it's a good thing the coffee hasn't finished percolatin' yet, because that would've been one of those "spray it with laughter" moments. But I don't think those are good colors for the Skellster.

Oh, how I *wish* I could describe the sound I made when I saw this post. It wasn't a snort, because it came through my teeth. It was kind of wet-sounding. Kinda like: Kksshhshhhkkshh.

I love it that I sat next to him. And I love it that this post prompted one of your readers to ask a serious question about socks. Darlin, *I* wouldn't ask your advice on socks. We see here what can happen to your sock-wearers. Kkshshhh.

Well, I had a full-on snort. Followed by bwahahahahahaha.

Even funnier considering I saw a full x-ray of my head and neck today, and was all creeped out about it.

I have to say, being the reader with the serious question, that skeleton is creepy! But then I thought, 'Hey, what a great idea if you can't find a person to take a photo!' lol

I have to agree with Claudia...you must eat!!! I love the color of that sock, by the way ;)

Okay, being a big fan of El Dia de los Muertos and all art that is related to it, your sock model rocks. Bring me more shots of the skeleton wearing the knits, please!

Oh. My. Dear. God.

That's got to be the most eloquent depiction of sock knitting that I've ever seen.

You know, you could knit quite the afgan with those fibulae.
