How life-like. Did it frighten you as a kid? The socks look great.

I can't imagine how you came up with the name Big Doll. This doll scares me a little bit, actually, but she is an excellent sock (and capelet) model.

You've just inspired me to dress Nidia Shana (my cabbage patch doll I got when I was 5) in the toxic jobby socks, when I get my camera.

Needless to say, I've enjoyed them immensely, both the knitting updates and the wonderful colorful pictures of both stash and newly painted walls -- not to mention the glimpse into the writing life which you offer. Big Doll rocks. And i love the socks!

i'm scared.

I love Big Doll - she cracked me up when I saw her sitting there in the chair. Makes me want to sit on the arm of the chair and have a chat with her.

I, too, named my dolls and one of them is named "Big Baby." I wonder if she is the little sister to Big Doll? I named her Big Baby cuz she was so big - Dear Mom liked big dolls and I liked little dolls. Big Baby sits on a stool at the end of my baby. Maybe Big Doll will have a sleepover with Big Baby, Huncher, Boy and whoever else I have hanging around the house. What fun!
