What's that coming up the stairs?!

Don't be afraid, gentle knitters. That's just the Ghost of Holiday Gift Socks, come to gather up the finished swap socks. He'll make sure the socks arrive safely on the feet of the lucky recipient. The only drawback? He considers it his right to wear the socks first.

I mentioned that Santa probably doesn't play with toys before delivering them, but the Ghost of Holiday Gift Socks was unmoved. All I can do is hope that noncorporeal feet aren't able to stretch out a pair of socks.

Or wear a hole in them. Better get an exorcist! Can't have him running off with your newly knit socks! ;-)

I'll bet your secret sock grrl has never had ghost socks before. Score one for Cari.

Aw, man! I want secret ghost socks, too! Hmmm...there must be *something* haunting this place.

Those socks are awesome, even without the spectral influence.

I think, and maybe I'm just a little crazy here, that the socks are looking for their. . .

BRIDE! (evil laugh)

You, Herr Docktor, must make them a BRIDE!

(evil laugh)

I mean, really. Don't such socks decerve some company from that stash of yours? I too, am on a sock stash reduction binge.
So much Rubbermaid, so little space.
(loving the clapotis ode too, BTW)
