I've named this particular colorway Impossible to Photograph.

It's brighter and lighter than any photo I took shows. There are a few gold curls shot through it too, which really makes the pink pop. One curl in the front is ribboned with violet red, mulberry, and gold, but I couldn't get that to show up in a photo either. Maybe if there's sun tomorrow...
Posted by cari at December 21, 2004 07:58 PMFrom what I can tell, the color looks great. I know you've been wanting to do this for awhile now, so I'm glad you're happy. Way to go, Yarn Hair!
Posted by: jennIt's gorgeous! I can see the gold in front. Can't wait to see it in person.
Posted by: JackieLook how jealous sadie looks!! Yummy yummy hair!
Posted by: AlisonWow! I love it! :)
Posted by: RaeCari, what you need to do is find us a colour card somewhere on the web, like st purl or patternworks, and tell us the colour number of the yarn that your hair colour best resembles. Then we can all get it!
Posted by: julia fcWow, that looks great! I loved the bright pink from way back when, but this looks really good! And from what you describe, it's sounding even better!!
I have bits underneath my hair that are that colour...the majority is dark, dark brown though, it's just such a great colour!!
Suits you very much!
Sadie is saying, "Mom, I just want you to know . . . if you have *any* treats . . . I'm here."
Rockin' locks.
Posted by: Davidok now, how many different variations of fabulous and gorgeous hair do you have over there. great color. can't wait to see sunny pics. come on sun. cooperate with cari.

Posted by: melanieI LOVE it! Wish I was brave enough to give such bold color a try ~ You go, girl!
Posted by: maggiMe too, with Maggie -- I wish I had the bravery to do it. I tried it once and it was a total disaster. Love it!
Posted by: NormaYou look so pretty in that picture, and so does your pretty schmoo!!
Posted by: CarrieGREAT hair. It looks so great on you too!
Way to go.
Now I'm really envious! The color is smashingly great, especially with curls to show off the play of light. If only yarn could be so fun.
Posted by: margenegorgeous hair! i need an injection of life and fun into my mop top. would you share the name & address of hairstylist/colorist, please?
Posted by: GinaLove it. And I love that your hair really can be called a colorway; most of us are stuck with just a color...
Posted by: J StrizzyEveryone else's hair is a colour. I love that yours is a colourway. :)
Posted by: alisonI just left the same comment as Joanna -- duh! I'll read the others first next time.
Anyway, love the hair, the photo, Sadie's collar, everything. xo
Posted by: alisonI think Sadie is wanting you to call it mulberry-infused-sunshine-with-cherry-icicle-frost. I'm quite sure that's what she's trying to communicate...yes, quite sure.
Posted by: teresaLooks amazing as it is. My bf would love me to dye my hair like that but I'm usually too shy to go for something that dramatic. I don't like to stand out much :)
Posted by: VickiMy boyfriend just fell in love with you. He's been trying to get me to do hair like that forever.
In other words, you look amazing!
Posted by: KaetchenI LOVE THAT COLOR!
Posted by: maxas always....you look great! i think i can even see some gold in them curls!
i'm trying to hold out on dying until this little girl is born, but come may watch out! i may just shock the washington establishment with a little cari colour :-)
