Thanks for posting this, Cari. There have been SO MANY natural disasters this year that these organizations must be straining even more than usual. If you can't give money, but are able to give blood, consider that as well, because people may not realize that the Red Cross actually sells the blood to hospitals and uses the money in its efforts. (I never knew that until a case I was working on a couple of years ago....I always just thought the blood was used directly in aid of people who needed blood. I bet others think that, as well...)
