After a nephew, a niece and another nephew four weeks ago, I can honestly say, unequivocally, there is NOTHING better than being an Aunt. Nothing.

Congratulations - enjoy hugging and kissing and loving and spoiling that little boy to bits. Can't wait to see pictures.

Congratulations! i vaguely remember what that is like. my first nephew was born when i was 9 and although he is 26 now - we are still great mates. i am expecting to be a great aunt in the next few years! how scarey is that.

(Although, it's prudent to keep a cap on the spoiling . . . unlike grandparents, aunts have not earned the right to spoil their sibling's kids, and there's always the [theoretical] chance of revenge if you go too far, like, buying that set of drums . . .)
