A girl, her dog, and some new handknit socks.
you are exquisite, as always, but the dog--this is just a classic!
Posted by: eLove all the legs! SEXY!!! :D
Posted by: ChristieYup, you've got your priorities in order. Have a dog (actually 2), so if I could just learn to knit socks, I'd be all set.
Posted by: AmyWhat's that say, on your leg? Sexy. All of it.
Posted by: NormaNice and comfy looking! Oh yeah, so ready for fall...
Posted by: CassieSexy Sadie needs some socks!
(Ha, like they don't have enough sliding on the hardwood for you to worry about with the slamming around they would do with socks on! ;P)
Posted by: spaazliciousGreat looking socks! At first glance, I didn't even notice your dog. (I'm used to seeing my basset's big feet) She's got cute little feet...how about a pair of cute little socks?
Posted by: eyeleenLove those socks, beautiful colors!!
Posted by: JuliaGreat socks and colors. Sorry you're stressed and hope it's better soon.
Posted by: CaroleYowsa...what a photo! normally I don't think of socks as drop-dead sexy, but that tattoo really does the trick :-)
Stressed out here, too. I wonder if socks would help...though wool is not the best idea right now.
Here's hoping the sh*t fairy loses her wand. Hang in there :-)
Posted by: Lee AnnThinking of you... Knitting is excellent for stress...
Posted by: AnneBeautiful socks. That color is smashing.
Posted by: reginaThe ultimate weapon against stress - socks and your dogs. Hope all is going well for you.
Posted by: StephanieLovely socks. Those colours make me happy even on the monitor.
And that's an intriguing first line. . . can't wait to get my hands on your book.
Posted by: jodiPretty socks! Hope things de-stress for you real soon!
Posted by: KarenHey Cari, cool socks! Do they really stay up if you don't rib the legs?
Posted by: LeAnneBeautiful colors! Such cute feet! And cute little skinny dog feet, too! Sorry to hear you are stressed! (((big big hugs!)))
Posted by: pippyThose socks make me long for fall -- so gorgeous. I love the rolled top. It was good of Diego to stand still while Sadie took the photo!
Posted by: alisonHow clever of you to have placed your tattoo exactly right so that it isn't obscured by the lovely socks. It's like the socks are issuing cryptic messages. I'm thinking good thoughts for your book!
Posted by: SarahSocks and dogs heal. But I, too, would like to know how they stay up without ribbing.
send your stress over here - i'll take care of it.
Posted by: carolynOh that yarn! How beautiful. You know, a couple years ago I would have called you nuts if you'd have said I'd be calling socks beautiful. Ah the things I know now :)
Posted by: Vickihopefully not too much stress. (the socks are lovely)
Posted by: rebeccaYou've got that right!!
Posted by: margeneBoo!
Posted by: IrisAlways in search of cool sock yarn! Would you mind posting the yarn used and the number of skeins?
Thanks,
Claudia
Clearly I need some handknit socks, since I have the dog and the stress... hope yours gets better soooon!
I got a spindle though, which is fun, and the inlaws are adopting a retired racing greyhound - squeeeeee!
Nice! My hands hurt too bad when I try to knit socks. Any suggestions?
P.S. I love your blog. I've been reading silently for about a month!
Posted by: Stephie-PBeautiful colors! Socks are quite satisfying because they're small projects. Hope making those destressed you a bit!
