Ah yes...I sense a new poem coming: Death of a Mosquito By Smacking. Or that could be a new band name. Either one.

(Love the socks.)

Cool socks. Can't find the bruise.

You are cranking out socks at an alarming rate.
Your Clapotis tribute is getting a lot of press lately. First on Knitcast then OpenSource. Hopefully some book publisher will find it and I think, "I wonder if she's got a novel?"

The socks look great. And so do your legs.

And, the mosquitoes must all die. I can't even walk Bella anymore without a major mosquito attack. Grr.

Great socks, and I agree, nice legs. My legs look like Casper legs - nice tan.

Ah, Mosquitos. Death is too good for them.

Happy August 1 - I was thinking that all August-born should gather at TP for a bday party ... whaddya think?

lovely. socks, mosquito bite, bruise and all. :-)

how did you knit those socks? I am dying to learn how to knit socks, but I can't find a good source of any easy way to knit them.

I want to do it on two circular's but i found the online tutorials confusing. I also read about from the toe up and all kinds of crazy things.

I can't seem to find a sock pattern that is normal (no lace) that then has directions for knitting on circular's. I am a dummy and need it spelled out.

Any suggestions?

wonderful socks! mosquitos: ugh. they are the scourge of summer.

I still really love the leg writing...

Beautiful colors on those socks, lady. Hope your mosquito bite feels better soon. I'm right there with you on the unknown source bruises. You'd think that if you hit yourself hard enough to bruise you'd remember... Of course not.

Cute socks! And are you sure it was a mosquito?! I don't think mosquitoes (unlike socks) are supposed to have stripes...

The famed legs make another appearance! I can't believe a mosquito would dare mar them!

Bastards :)

And nice socks!!

There really are mosquitos with stripped legs. Perhaps not surprisingly they are called Asian Tiger mosquitos or Aedes albopictus. They are nasty and the ones that brought West Nile over here. But not to worry West Nile pretty much burnt itself out.

Oh and love the socks. I made my first pair of socks with that yarn. It will really soften up after you wash them a few times.

Great socks.

What does it say on your leg?

The socks, they are so, so swell.

Just found your blog. I have big greyhound and he's a yarn thief as well so I was highly amused to see your blog and your two "Iggies". One of these days I'm going to rescue an Iggy so my big guy will have his own "mini-me". He loves the little guys.

Uh, I'm a little behind on my blog reading. Holy Crap lookit Diego all stoned out! Poor little guy, so glad he got that tooth fixed. Ella is having problems with two teeth. I get to scrape and brush them to try to save them. Mmmmm, it's so much fun. I'd rather they knocked her out and made her a hillbilly. Just kidding.
Now those socks are lovely. I gotta try some socks. Cheers!

Excellent colors in the socks, can't really see the bruise. I don't kill spiders (bad luck) but mosquitos deserve whatever they get.
