Child's First Sock - so pretty!

Both lovely. But that Child's First Sock looks awfully large -- will you not be allowing your child to wear socks until he is four or five? Poor little thing...

Maybe not a pair, but they do coordinate nicely.

I am assuming that the "child's first sock" is suposed to be the first sock they learn to knit?? seems a lil complicated for that.. are the heal and toes simplified?

I am in desperate need of an instrcuion manual and have not been able to fine one anywhere! If you have one could I please, please get a copy? I would gladly send a s.a.s.e. as well as pay for any costs incurred in copying.

allow me, as cari possibly is busy rolling over. "Child's First Sock" is the name of the pattern, from Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks. Originally it was for a child; Bush updated the pattern so it now can be worn by a woman, i'm guessing cari, herself.

if you don't know that book, do! it's really wonderful!
