I couldn't get it together to take a decent photo of dark brown stockinette, so please take my word for it when I say that I swatched for the Equinox Pullover and got gauge (stitch AND row gauge. Can you believe it? I almost never get row gauge). I cast on for the back and am about two inches into it. Two inches of dark brown stockinette. On US#2 needles. Yeah, this one might take a while.
Another photo I haven't taken yet: the Anemoi Mittens. The first mitten is done save the thumb. I hope to do the thumb after Thumper goes to sleep tonight, and maybe cast on for the second mitten.
Yes, yes, I'm being horribly lax in the photo department. I could be lying. I mean, without the photos, you really have no idea, right? Maybe I haven't even swatched for the Equinox Pullover. Or started the back, much less gotten two inches of it done. Maybe that first mitten doesn't have a tip yet. Maybe I've shaved my head and taken to wearing MuMus. I mean...without photographs, how do you know?
You'll just have to take me at my word, folks. Haven't we been together long enough to do that, at least for this post?

I have a question for you not related to knitting, writing, or breast-feeding. It relates to your status as City-Dweller, specifically NYC, and the 5-Borough Bike Ride. You've got my email - if you are at all able to spare time to talk to me about a couple things related to hanging out in the city while my crazier friends get saddle-sores, would you email me? If I don't hear, no problem. I will be doing some research online anyway and I know you're pretty freakin' busy these days. I promise not to ask questions about the baby but instead deal with you as a human person with interests and opinions not related to offspring.

Is Thumper wearing baby legs (those baby leggings)? One of my friends who has an infant loves those things. I wanted to knit up some, but have no idea about the size. Have you ever attempted to knit them?

Posted by: LizDOkay, so I can share this weird dream with you since you're a real mom--I had a dream that I had a baby, she had a low birth weight and was gangly, but get this--she could talk! Like, when her diaper was ready for a change she'd say "uh, Mom? Something is...wrong." It was so helpful and only a little creepy. Here's where it gets too gross for my non-babied friends to hear--while I'm changing the diaper I notice pomagranate seeds. I yell to the boyfriend who is making dinner: "Did you give the baby a pomagranate!?!" It was massively amusing.
Also--a word of encouragement about the sweater! I'm on 2s for Enid and I am not-ORIOUSLY slow, and distracted, and this is how much I've done since Christmas:
