Very pretty. I've gotten as far as downloading the pattern. Have a pair of felted mitts on the needles for my DD to finish first.

Wow! Just beautiful.

Beautiful! I love those colors...I'm about 3/4 done with my first one!

It is beautiful! I haven't had the urge to knit mittens in a while, but these are just so spectacular!

So. Pretty. They match your blog.

Just lovely, and ou're so color-coordinated! :) I love the way the subtle color changes in the yarn work with the pattern.

What a gorgeous mitten! I can't believe that you managed to do that while looking after a baby.

They look fiery rather than smoky. I'll bet they'll keep you warm.

I bow to your powers of attention, milady.

Oh, so very pretty.

Dear Maude,

You knit the ill-chronic of mittens.

Beautiful! Great color choices. I just finished one of those myself. I had problems with the cuff being too tight from the stranded knitting there. I didn't do the tubular cast on; did you? Do you think it makes a difference?

Posted by: Nancy

Stop it. I will not be distracted from my current project no matter how very, very nice those mittens look.
Back off, cupcake.

Cair, they're gorgeous! I love the way the colours glow.

D'oh, can't spell. Or type. One or the other.

I wrote to you a long time ago asking advice about the cape from vogue knitting in Blue sky alpaca. Maybe it was around last November, whenever the NYFA applications are due. Did you ever finish it? I never did. I see it dropped off your on hold list. I gave up on mine a while ago . I now have six month old twins. I started before I knew I was preggers and during my pregnancy I couldn't knit at all. I'm knitting a lot now but I just can't make myself work on that cape thing. I'm also not convinced it will even fit. The only other blogger who seemed to be working on it, Purl side of the moon, also never posted more than once about it. Was anyone able to complete this project?

So inspiring. I want to do some colorwork mitts someday....Love the fiery colors.

Ooooooooh! Great colors!

WOW. Those are gorgeous. I just made my first attempt at stranded knitting, and after this I think I'll just go pluck my eyelashes out with hot tweezers whenever I get the urge for colorwork. It would be less annoying. How do you DO that and not go insane? Sigh...clearly I am not cut out to be a Knitter with a capital K. So sad.

Lovely! They look like the sunset.

...must...have...that...mitten...
